Country hub
A small network where almost every line is worth taking for itself: fjord branches, Arctic crossings and the long inland route through Røros.
Norwegian rail is unusual in that the ordinary timetable is the attraction. The same ticket that moves you between cities takes you over mountain plateaux, along fjord arms and above the Arctic Circle, and the trains run year round rather than for a summer season.
Every journey below records the operator's own published route, season and booking detail, and leaves fares blank where no current official fare is published.
