JR Kyushu
Seven Stars in Kyushu is JR Kyushu's 77-series cruise train, designed by Eiji Mitooka and in service since 2013. It runs from Hakata Station in Fukuoka on itineraries of three nights and four days and of one night and two days, looping around Kyushu and returning to Hakata. Applications are handled by JR Kyushu's cruise train tour desk rather than online booking.

Kintetsu Railway
The Shimakaze is Kintetsu's 50000 series premium limited express, running from Osaka Namba to Kashikojima on the Ise-Shima coast in about two and a half hours. Every seat is a wide reclining seat, with double-deck observation saloons at each end and a two-storey cafe car in the middle.

Kintetsu Railway
AONIYOSHI is Kintetsu's sightseeing limited express between Osaka-Namba, Kintetsu-Nara and Kyoto, rebuilt from 12200-series stock into a four-car train of twin seats, salon seats, a library and a sales counter. Kintetsu publishes eight services a day, starting with the 09:10 from Osaka-Namba, which reaches Kyoto at 10:31 after reversing at Kintetsu-Nara.
