A working line with a history

Six hundred millimetres between the rails is the narrowest gauge ever used in Sweden for public passenger and goods traffic, and ÖSlJ has kept a working railway at that scale rather than a static collection.

The historic line

The carriages are small, the vestibules are open, and the locomotives are hand-fired, so the fifteen minutes to Läggesta feel longer than they are in the best way.
