The Inchanga Choo Choo is a heritage steam service run by volunteers of the Umgeni Steam Railway in KwaZulu-Natal, using the 1938-built Class 19D locomotive Wesley and coaches dating from 1908 to 1952. While repairs to the historic line continue, trains run from Inchanga to Botha's Hill and back without an intermediate stop, on the last Sunday of most months, with extra trains at Christmas and Easter.

From the record
This is a preservation society's railway, kept running by the people who restore the locomotive, and the short run along the ridge above the Valley of a Thousand Hills has more of Natal branch-line character than its length suggests. The craft market at Inchanga station makes a morning of it. Note that the longer Kloof to Inchanga route is not currently operating, so check the date and the scope before you plan around it.
