Since the LGV Sud Europe Atlantique opened in July 2017, the fastest TGV inOui services cover Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux Saint-Jean in two hours two minutes. Trains run via Massy, and depending on the service call at Tours, Poitiers and Angoulême. All seats are reserved. The new line was built and financed through a public-private partnership, a first for a major French high-speed route.

TGV INOUI links Paris Gare de Lyon and Lyon Part-Dieu over 422 km in as little as 1 hour 43 minutes, with around 30 trains a day. The LGV Sud-Est was Europe's first purpose-built high-speed line, and Paris–Lyon remains the busiest and most frequent high-speed corridor in France.

The fastest TGV inOui services run from Paris Gare de Lyon to Marseille Saint-Charles in three hours four minutes, over the LGV Sud-Est and then the LGV Méditerranée, which opened in 2001. Depending on the service, trains call at Lyon Part-Dieu, Valence TGV, Avignon TGV and Aix-en-Provence TGV. Seats are reserved on every train, and the arrival at Saint-Charles is up the hill above the old port.

SNCF's Intercités de Nuit leaves Paris Gare d'Austerlitz in the evening and reaches Nice-Ville the following morning, running via the Rhône valley, Marseille and the Var coast in roughly eleven to twelve hours.
